Top O' The Morning.....

I've had a really hard time finding cute things for St. Patrick's Day this year so I decided to make something!

It was a little time consuming but so worth it because I love how it turned out! All of the supplies are from Stampin' Up! and can be adapted for any occasion. Perhaps something for Easter is in order? :o)

Have a fantastic weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Many Blessings,
M.

St. Patrick's Day Banner.....

Good Monday morning everyone!

It's another busy day in the Kaufman household but aren't most Monday's like that? I completed a small project for a very special friend that I'm shipping off today and wanted to share it with you before it gets packaged up.

Many moons ago, I came across this awesome website with several different ideas for celebrations and was delighted to find the freebie section of her site! I had a totally different direction in mind for the banner, but when I seen these sweet images available for download, I had to have them! I printed them out on heavy white card stock, backed them with some green, tied them together with some fun ribbon and added some glitter for a little extra sparkle. I love it!

What do you think?

Have a fantastic week!

Many Blessings,
M.

A St. Patrick's Day Project....

It's class day so this will be a short and sweet post this morning!

Tonight we will be making these sweet bag toppers for St. Patrick's Day. I'm always looking for fun and inexpensive projects for my girls that can be replicated using just a few supplies. I think this little guy works really really well for that!

Have a fantastic day!

Many Blessings,
M.

Past Creations.....

Good afternoon!

I've been working on a scrapbook page this afternoon but it doesn't look like I'll get it done in time to post today. More often than not, if I force myself to create something I end up not liking the project and that's the last thing I want to do with a scrapbook page! So instead, I'm featuring a few of my past creations for St. Patrick's Day......enjoy!

Too Early?

Hi all!

In hopes of being inspired to create something for the sale blog for St. Patrick's Day, I pulled out the couple of things I have for the holiday. Do you think it's too early? I hope not! I've seen all kinds of things in the stores for it already and while green is not a color I would normally use in my decorating, I do like the little touch of springtime color. It reminds me that winter is on its way out and spring is on its way in....

I have no doubt that the green candy you see in here will be gone by the end of the week because I have a husband who LOVES Peanut M&M's! Once they are gone, I thought it would be cute to replace them with Rolos....kind of like the pot of gold at the end of rainbow!

My other piece is this lantern from Home Interior from a few years ago. It's hard to tell, but there's a candle burning on the inside of it. I love the soft glow it gives off in the evening time hours....

I think I'd like to make some kind of banner that I can use year after year and I promised a friend I would make one for her as well. I can't decide what it should say.....here are the ideas I've been kicking around:

1. Good Luck!
2. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
3. Erin Go Bragh!

What do you think?

Many Blessings,
M.
