A birthday, anniversary and the beach.....

Hi all!

We've celebrated some special occasions around the Kaufman household over the last few days and I wanted to share them with you.....

Friday was Chris' 40th birthday! I have a hard time believing that I'm old enough to be married to someone who is 40, but that's my issue and not his as he still tells everyone he's only 28! :o) I'm not quite sure how old he is in this picture, but I love it.....

And here he is celebrating his special day.....

Saturday was our 17th wedding anniversary and we celebrated with a quick over night stay in Lincoln City, Oregon. I don't think I've shared this particular shot before.....

Honestly, I don't know how people can live anywhere other than the Pacific Northwest.....we are SO close to everything....the big city (Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington), the mountains (Mt. Hood) and the entire Washington and Oregon Coast. Seriously, how can you resist a view like this?

I can't!

I'll be back tomorrow with the cards I made for the occasions and a bonus card because it turned out so pretty.....

Thanksgiving Menu....

It's a little late in the day, but can you believe that I've actually posted something four days in a row? I don't quite know what's come over me!! :o)

While I won't be doing printed menu's like the faux one above, I wanted to share our Thanksgiving menu while it's on my mind....

Thank you guys for all of the positive comments on the garage yesterday....I laughed out loud when I read the one from Vera about the before photos looking like crime scene photos! I assure you, it smelled like a crime scene when we were cleaning it up but I'll spare you the rest of the details! LOL!

Today's my love's birthday. While he turned 39, he insists on telling everyone that he's 28. I just smile and shake my head because I know that he's just gotten better as he's aged. In celebration I thought I'd share a few photos....

Better Late than Never....

Happy Belated Mother's Day to all of you! It turned out to be a whirlwind weekend for us so I waited until this morning to post again.

My mother in law loved her card and so did my mom. How can you not when the roses are so beautiful? Here's my mom's:
