Happy Valentine's Day!

Good morning everyone!

A few weeks ago I went to a class given by a special friend and we made a bunch of love themed projects....a scrapbook page, a treat box, two cards and a sweet little "mailbox"!

It took me some time to figure out which picture to put on my page and I finally decided on the one you see below....

Chris and Melissa July 1993

Chris and I met when we were paired up to walk down the isle together in a wedding. It seemed fitting to use that particular picture on the scrapbook page and to post it on Valentine's Day! :)

Thanks again to Shana for hosting such an awesome class....I'm looking forward to many, many more!

Cupcake Class....

I've been hard at work designing for some upcoming classes and thought you might like to see the first one. I love cupcakes! And lucky for me, they are incredibly popular these days.

This is the first of many to come so be sure to check back often! And as an added bonus, I now have three cards done for goal number 3 for 2011!

Caramel Apples and Pumpkins....

Good morning everyone!

October Stamp Club was last night and in the spirit of the changing season, we made Caramel Apple cards! This super cute idea was sent to me by a very special friend from Arkansas and I loved it the moment I laid my eyes on it!

All packaged up

Card outside the bag

It's the perfect gift for someone who doesn't need/want a lot of candy at one time or would be really cute as a place card at an Autumn dinner. All you'd have to do is tie a little tag with someone's name on it and you would be good to go! *Please ignore the spice bottle holding it up!*

And as an added bonus, I whipped up this sweet little pumpkin box as a giveaway at the class. I've found similar boxes around on the internet but this was my first time making it. I must say, I love it too! And since I gave away the last one, I'm going to make a second one for myself to keep and one to give away here! Once I reach that 50 follower mark of course.....

Thank you to all of my new readers who have taken the time to stop by and sign up as a follower. Your time is important and I appreciate you sharing a little bit of it with me!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Autumn Spice....

I promise that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth....it's just been a really busy time for us!

Today is Stamp Club day and I made a project using the brand new Autumn Spice Designer Paper. It is beautiful! And because it's one of the specialty papers from Stampin' Up!, it's thick and has a texture to it that just says Fall is on the way!

Am I the only one who is ready for it?

August Stamp Club.....

Hi everyone!

It's been a crazy week around here and I for one am ready for the weekend! I might even get lucky enough to sneak in a nap sometime....

Last night was Stamp Club night and in the spirit of it being a hot August night, we made these "cool" cards. While the idea has been around for some time, it was a big hit here and one I think my ladies really enjoyed.

Card #2

I hope everyone has a good weekend and I'll catch ya on Monday!

June Stamp Club and New Catty CASE....

Good morning!

Last night was Stamp Club night and after a long week, I decided to keep it simple. I wanted to show case the new In Colors from Stampin' Up! and just spend some time chatting with each other. It's so easy to get caught up in the business side of things! As we wind down from this round of the club, I'm thankful that I've had the opportunity to share a part of my passion with them and I look forward to the next six month period!

Enjoy the sneak peek from page 165!

Many Blessings,
M.

Mother in Law Card......

Boy, everything's coming up roses around here lately isn't it?! I've been hard at work on making projects and today is class day so this is a short and sweet post.

Today's project is my MIL's Mother's Day card and is a new technique for me. It was so easy and breathtaking if you ask me....that's why we are doing it at my class tonight!

Thanks for stopping by!

Many Blessings,
M.

Butterfly Note Pads.....

Good morning everyone!

For those of you who are not local or haven't been a reader of mine for very long, I hold several classes a month showcasing various projects that usually revolve around papercrafting. I love stamping and like to expand my customers options by highlighting projects that go beyond a stamp and stamp pad. Here is last night's class project....

The note pads can be thrown into your car, attached to your handbag or given away as gifts. The were fun and super easy to do. This is what they look like on the inside.....

And here are just a few from last night's class....

The possibilities are endless!

Many Blessings,
M.

April's 5 for $5 Class......

April 2010

I've been holding 5 for $5 Classes since mid 2007 and it's fun to go through and see what I've designed from the same time the year or two before. It's kind of like looking through old family photographs and seeing your evolving clothing and/or hairstyle choices only most of the card pictures are a little easier to look at!

April 2008

I've learned a lot about what my customers like and dislike and what makes my job easier. I've also learned to trust my first impression of my creations. If I like them, then most of the time the class participants will too.

April 2009

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your Wednesday is turning out to be fantastic!

Many Blessings,
M.

Punch Art Bunny.....

Good morning!

Yesterday I spent the day with my mom making more Easter Baskets like these from Monday night but we took them a step further and added a little bunny made entirely out of punches! If you are a scrapbooker or rubber stamper and have hand held punches, your possibilities are endless....and they turned out super cute if I do say so myself!

Have a great day!

Many Blessings,
M.

Easter Basket Class....

Last night was my Easter Basket Class here in town and it was a hit! There's really nothing like a simple and sweet project to bring a group of women together is there?

And here is the group shot of smiling faces to prove they had a good time....

I'm off to work on more Easter goodies....have a good day!

Many Blessings,
M.

A St. Patrick's Day Project....

It's class day so this will be a short and sweet post this morning!

Tonight we will be making these sweet bag toppers for St. Patrick's Day. I'm always looking for fun and inexpensive projects for my girls that can be replicated using just a few supplies. I think this little guy works really really well for that!

Have a fantastic day!

Many Blessings,
M.
